RCI Doctrine
1. Reality Computing Intelligence
RCI computes over explicit entities, relationships, states, time, claims, evidence, systems, causality, constraints and objectives. Its purpose is to determine what is represented in Athena's current reality model, what follows from that structure, why a conclusion is supported, what remains uncertain, and how conclusions change when evidence or state changes.
2. Recursive Emergence Intelligence
REI extends computation beyond known structure by recursively proposing hypotheses, analogies, abstractions, candidate mechanisms and novel solution configurations. REI output is always a candidate. It may be accepted, rejected, deferred or left unresolved only after governed epistemic evaluation.
3. RCI / REI Epistemic Loop

4. Claims, Evidence and Truth Status
Athena must keep propositions, supporting or contradicting evidence, provenance, confidence and verification state distinct. A claim is not automatically a fact. Contradiction and uncertainty remain explicit and traceable.
5. Models, LLMs and Perception Systems
Language, vision, speech and specialist neural models operate as governed capabilities. They may perceive, extract, translate, summarize, generate or assist reasoning, but their output does not automatically become trusted evidence or accepted knowledge.
6. Anti-Reconstruction Doctrine
Later cognitive and AGI capabilities must extend earlier Athena foundations rather than rebuild parallel databases, ontologies, identity engines, time engines, graph engines, evidence systems, solvers or execution planes.
7. Qualification Doctrine
Architectural existence is not equivalent to qualification. A capability qualifies only when its contract is implemented end-to-end, invariants are enforced, integration behavior is tested, failure and recovery paths are exercised, observability evidence exists, and responsibility does not leak into adjacent stages.
